Spelling Intensives
One of the most effective ways to jumpstart your journey with the Spellers Method™ and begin hearing your child’s authentic voice is by scheduling a Spelling Intensive. This in-person experience typically includes two 45-minute sessions per day over the course of two consecutive days, with at least a one-hour break between sessions to allow for rest and regulation.
During the intensive, your practitioner will conduct a comprehensive intake and assessment, carefully considering your child’s unique sensory and motor profile.
This thorough evaluation helps determine the appropriate letterboards and strategies to either begin or advance their spelling journey.
Throughout the sessions, your practitioner will also provide hands-on coaching for you as a communication partner. Our goal is for you to leave the intensive with a deeper understanding of your child’s individual needs and the confidence to continue practicing spelling lessons at home.
By the end of the intensive, you’ll feel empowered and equipped with practical tools to support your child’s ongoing progress in communication.
Local Spellers
For families in the Atlanta area, we offer the opportunity to begin Spellers Method™ immediately by scheduling weekly sessions with one of our highly trained providers. These consistent sessions allow your child to actively practice spelling while parents and caregivers receive early coaching to support at-home practice and progress.
Two key factors influence how long it takes an individual to master spelling: the complexity of their sensory-motor profile and the availability of resources—time, energy, and finances—for consistent sessions and home practice.

Spelling sessions are 50 minutes long and are designed to be engaging and age-appropriate. During each session, your practitioner will work with your child on purposeful motor skills, cognitive development, emotional regulation, and building stamina for sustained communication. You, as the parent or caregiver, will also be coached to become an effective communication and regulation partner.

Virtual Spelling Sessions
We understand that traveling to a center isn’t always feasible for every family. We also recognize that Zoom sessions can be challenging for some spellers. That’s why we’ve developed flexible and supportive ways to help you and your child build the skills needed for successful spelling.
Our providers offer personalized support through a variety of approaches to meet each family’s unique needs. One option is live Zoom sessions, where your provider actively coaches you as you work on spelling with your child in real-time.
Another option allows you to submit a video of a practice session before your scheduled meeting. During your live Zoom session, your provider will review the video with you, offering personalized feedback and setting goals to support your child’s progress.
Every session includes a tailored lesson and ongoing coaching to guide you through the spelling process.
